ha, cool......can i ask, what the difference is between 48px and the other one???? im not stupid im just not in this skining scene for long... and just wanna learn all about it...
Relich, thanks for a nice comment and plus point I am not sure if this is mixing of Vista and Leopard. It should have been Longhorn but yes Vista´s and Leopard´s influence might be seen there. cheers Tom
Alex, neither am I This is truly my first skin and I was very nervous how all the folk would accep that. This is the first step of mine. And if that´s gonna be successful I will be keeping on working to create the others. The difference between classic and 48 px theme is that if you make your icons larger the classic start menu will be deformed a bit. But if you have big icons and 48 px startemenu it should be fine
ha, now iget it.... in the 48px version the shutdown button is there but the icons are corrupt, when i use the other one the icons are perfekt but no shutdown button... and i found out why that is!!
i use a resolution thats 1152x864 pixel.... and your skin is made for a other res i guess. am i right?
still, what tool you use to make skins anyway....tell me please, my friend^^
Hi mate, glad to hear you from It fits 1024 x 768 pxl resolution more or less. Not sure if I am capable to sort these bugs out for you to be working fine. Yep, you´re right I forgot to tell you which tools I was using. At this moment it´s Photoshop + Skin Studio and Zoner Media 9. Tom
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
